Feyrouz Serhal

Master’s degree in Film and Screen Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, her short narrative film ‘Tshweesh’ (2017) won the Robert Bosch Film Prize and premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. In 2023, she wrote and directed two short films: ‘I Come from the Sea’, premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival; and Sen ti’, premiered at the Rabat International Author Film Festival and Best Spanish Film at the Imagineindia Film Festival in Madrid. In 2024, she completed her feature documentary ‘Maroun Returns to Beirut’, which premiered at the the Venice Film Festival. She is currently in the financing stage of her debut narrative feature, ‘I Am Here But You Can’t See Me’.
