Two witty and temperamental elderly women, Benedicta and Caridad, find themselves facing the same goal: the last lamb remaining in the butcher's shop on the afternoon of the 24th of December. What begins as a calm discussion about which of the two has more of a right to take it soon turns into an increasingly absurd and excessive battle. Stratagems, reproaches and tricks follow one another until they lead to a physical confrontation as fierce as it is ridiculous.
