In the throbbing heart of Old Havana, where rhythm blends with the heartbeat of the soul, a dance school has made dreams its life's purpose. Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba doesn't just teach dance: it teaches how to believe, create, and imagine a better future. For almost 35 years, the school and professional company have shaped a generation that has learned to defy gravity—not only of the body, but also of life. The documentary travels between lights, rehearsals, and silences, where each step reveals a story of effort, passion, and belonging. All echoed by the maxim of its founder, Lizt Alfonso, which reverberates like a destiny: «I want all those children to be able to make their dreams come true through art and dance».
