Olivia, her little brother Tim, and their mother Ingrid are kicked out of their home and forced to start over in a different neighbourhood. While Ingrid struggles to resolve the situation, Olivia invents a protective fantasy for herself and her brother: everything they're experiencing isn't real; they're filming a movie. But this fantasy has unexpected consequences. Fortunately, a new and colourful family forms around them, with whom they'll experience incredible adventures. Amid laughter, tears, magic, and friendship, they will discover they are indeed the incredible everyday heroes of their own lives.
Irene Iborra Rizo
Born in Alicante in 1976, she holds a degree in Physics and specialized in audiovisual media with two master's degrees: one in writing for film and television, and the other in directing and stop-motion animation. For two decades now, she has worked as a screenwriter, director, and animation artist. She has written, directed, and produced works such as ‘Citoplasmas en medio ácido’ (2005), ‘Matilda’ (2018, released in French theatres as part of the ‘Crecer’ program), ‘Click’ (2013), and ‘Qué li passa al cel?’ (2022), selected or awarded at festivals like Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy, Animayo, Monstra, Stuttgart, Ottawa, and Animamundi, among others. For television, she has written and directed the award-winning children's series ‘Cuentos Celestes’, and, together with writer and screenwriter Maite Carranza, she is the author of the children's literature series ‘Los 7 cavernícolas’ (Planeta). ‘L'Olívia i el terratrèmol invisible’ (2025), the first stop-motion feature film directed by a woman in Spain, had its world premiere in Annecy, where it won an award.
