Following his grandfather's death, the filmmaker discovers a notebook containing the memoirs of his great-grandfather Eloy, who was persecuted in Soria during the Civil War for belonging to the trade union confederation CNT. Although there was no front line in the region, Falangist repression left its mark on his family. Eloy was imprisoned and saved his life thanks to an unexpected gesture of humanity. Through research and filming of the places where his great-grandfather suffered imprisonment and forced labour, the filmmaker reconstructs a silenced memory of the war and post-war period in Soria.
