Àlex Sardá (DOC. España Award at the 67th SEMINCI for Hafreiat) directs Enric Auquer (El maestro que prometió el mar) in this family drama. Artur, the son of a bourgeois family and a dancer in a contemporary dance company, acts as the prince of a kingdom tailored to his needs. Things change when his father is arrested on charges of corruption in a real estate scandal. Artur must decide whether to protect his family or face the consequences of giving up his privileges.

Alex Sardà works between documentary and fiction. His debut feature, the documentary HAFREIAT (15L Films, Al Jazeera, 2022) was presented at the prestigious Sheffield DocFest 2022. This first feature film is a further step in his exploration of contemporary masculinities, family and relationships, already initiated in his short fiction films GANG (2020) and FUGA (2021). HAFREIAT, has been recognized with the awards for best Spanish documentary at SEMINCI 2022, the special mention of the jury at Miradasdoc 2023 and the International Audience Award at the Amman Film fest 2023.
