SEMINCI and the University of Valladolid present the cycle ‘Completing the images. Thinking cinema at SEMINCI’ to bring together spectators and authors

The University of Valladolid and SEMINCI present ‘Completando las imágenes. Thinking cinema at SEMINCI’, a space created to promote knowledge, exchange and closeness around cinema, the public and creators.

The cycle proposes an itinerary of screenings and meetings, the latter being an opportunity to bring together spectators and authors -as well as other people linked to the creative film process- to dialogue in an open and profitable way about their work. All this, guided by members of the festival’s programming team who have extensive teaching experience.

The focus in this new SEMINCI space is on the creative processes of filmmakers such as Lois Patiño, Laura Ferrés or Paula Ortiz, who will participate in the meetings with UVa students talking about their work and the challenges facing Spanish cinema today.

These dialogues, together with a careful selection of screenings are intended to be the duo that gives rise to an experience as close as didactic, and framed both in the screening rooms and in significant spaces of the University of Valladolid.

Registration will be open to the general public, and participation in at least 80% of the proposals will be credited in the case of university students.
