THINKING ABOUT CINEMA AT SEMINCI is Seminci’s programme aimed at students interested in reflecting on cinema and the world (or the world through cinema), comprising a series of events featuring key figures from the current scene who will be presenting the premieres of their new films at the festival.
The series of meetings aims to become a space for enrichment and open exchange for all, delving into the creative process, fostering knowledge of the art of filmmaking, and bringing the voices of key filmmakers closer to the Seminci audience.
Creative processes will play a fundamental role in the meetings, exploring the innovative forms and artistic crossroads facing contemporary cinema.
The discussions with the directors will be led by members of the festival’s programming team, all of whom have extensive teaching experience, which will ensure the sessions are characterised by rigour and knowledge, both regarding the filmmaker and their work, as well as the context in which it is presented.
