Elsa Tébar

Film critic, lecturer and researcher. In 2020-2021, she completed a Master’s Degree in Film Criticism at the Madrid Film and Audiovisual School (ECAM). She is part of the editorial team of the film magazine ‘Caimán Cuadernos de Cine’, where she is editor and content coordinator for the print edition and the website. She has contributed analytical texts on the situation of cinema made by women to the collective publications ‘La mitad del mundo.

Mujeres en el cine español (2020-2023)’ and’ La reinvención del cine español’, both published by the Malaga Film Festival, as well as other collaborative works. Since January 2023, she has been a member of the editorial board of ‘Caimán CdC’.
