Ivette Liang

Head of the Production Department at the International Film and Television School in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba) and of the Nuevas Miradas project development lab. In 2013, she founded the film production and training company Galaxia 311 SAS (Colombia). Since 2015, she has been part of the EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) network of producers and has been a jury member and a member of the selection team at various international festivals and markets. She specialises in working with debut films and international co-productions. Her filmography includes feature films such as ‘The Dragon Defense’ (2017; Cannes Directors’ Fortnight), ‘La venganza de Jairo’ (Audience Award at Sitges, 2019), ‘Venice’ (2014, selected at Toronto) and ‘Regreso al mar de mis muertos’ (2024; WIP, Goes to Cannes).
