He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Rey Juan Carlos University and a Master’s degree in Film Directing from ESCAC. His career as a short film director, with titles like ‘Somos amigos’ (2014) and ‘El Club de los 27’ (2015), has earned him a distinguished track record at film festivals and international awards. His work has been selected for more than 180 competitions, including those in Seattle, Southampton, Plymouth, and Cartagena de Indias. He has received more than 50 awards for best short film or best director, as well as a Goya nomination for best fiction short film for ‘Strangers on the Road’ (2016). ‘Leo & Lou’ (2025) is his feature film debut.
