Toni is 15 years old and lives in Cañada Real, Europe's largest informal settlement, on the outskirts of Madrid. Proud to belong to his family of scrap metal dealers, he spends his days with his grandad, whom he admires and follows everywhere. But demolition machines are approaching the plot where he lives and threaten to destroy everything the family knows. His grandfather refuses to leave, no matter what it takes. On those dark nights without electric power, the old stories of his childhood begin to feel more real than ever. As everything changes around him, Toni must choose between facing an uncertain future or clinging to a world that is about to disappear.
