The 71st Seminci and DAMA renew their collaboration with a new edition of DAMA Dialogues, an established programme inviting audiences to meet the people behind the films. These encounters extend the cinematic experience beyond the screening, offering first-hand insight into the ideas and creative processes that shape each work.

DAMA Dialogues will take place after selected festival screenings. Filmmakers including Ione Hernández, Raúl García, Helena Girón, Samuel Delgado, Daniel Calparsoro, Claudia Estrada Tarascó, Francisco Marise, Pablo Maqueda, Jorge and Alberto Sánchez-Cabezudo, Marta Solaz, Verónica Díaz Pérez and Sergio Peris-Mencheta—some accompanied by members of their teams—will discuss the choices behind their work, from writing and miseen-scène to editing and production.

Questions from the audience will invite new readings of the films and bring the collective nature of filmmaking to the fore. Each session thus becomes an extension of the screening, making conversation an integral part of the festival experience.
