Comunidad Seminci

Comunidad Seminci is a joint initiative by Seminci and the Castilla y León Film Archive that brings arthouse cinema and the spirit of the festival to different parts of the region, making high-quality films available to the public in their original language with subtitles.

Territorio Seminci

Territorio Seminci is an initiative of Valladolid Provincial Council, organised by the Valladolid International Film Festival, which brings a selection of films linked to the festival to various towns across the province, with the aim of extending quality cinema beyond the capital and making films of particular interest more accessible to the public.

Filmoteca SEMINCI

Filmoteca Seminci is an initiative of the Valladolid International Film Festival, in collaboration with the Filmoteca de Castilla y León, which organises film series and screenings throughout the year to bring the world’s cinematic heritage to the public and keep Seminci’s connection with the city alive beyond the festival.

Thinking About Cinema at SEMINCI

A forum open to the public, aimed particularly at students, to reflect on contemporary cinema and its creative processes alongside filmmakers invited to the festival, in collaboration with DAMA and the University of Valladolid.

UVa SEMINCI Route

A programme of screenings and talks aimed at students, offering an insider’s view of the festival and an insight into the filmmaking process through discussions with filmmakers, in collaboration with the University of Valladolid.

EXHIBITION

Footprints and Escapes. Spanish Cinema at SEMINCI

An exhibition of original materials from a selection of Spanish feature films from year’s edition, designed to give the public an insight into the creative processes behind the scenes.
