ANA AMIGO

In 1982 she began her career in the cinema industry. She directed the Purchasing s department at Sogepaq and the International Co-productions department at Sogecine. She launched the Warner Bros. Production Division in Spain. While working for these corporations she became involved in film productions by Walter Salles, Isabel Coixet, Julio Medem, Agustín Díaz Yánes, Imanol Uribe, Montxo Armendáriz, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, Benito Zambrano and Alejandro Amenábar. With her own company she has produced films by Manuel Gómez Pereira and Eduardo Chapero-Jackson. She was a consultant for the European programs Media II and Ateliers du Cinema, and she has been part of the film aid commissions of ICAA, the Basque Government and the Government of Colombia.
