Dr Loreta Gandolfi is an Affiliated Lecturer in the Centre for Film & Screen Studies, University of Cambridge, where she teaches Critical Theories and Textual Analysis applied to the history of European, American and World Cinema.
She has worked as an International Programmer for several film festivals across continents, and she currently is a Senior Curator at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias in Colombia, the oldest film festival in Latin America. She is a member of the European Film Academy and a FIPRESCI member. She freelances for a variety of film journals, including Film International, Cineaste and FILMNEWSUK.
