María Herrera's debut alongside Avalon. As producer, she already knows what it's like to win the Golden Spike with Arquitectura Emocional 1959, and later the Goya for Best Fiction Short Film. Although they barely know each other, Inés and Guille quickly connect, showing an unusual complicity for a first date. Inés wants them to watch the sunrise together before they go to sleep.

María Herrera is a young Spanish filmmaker and producer. Her work explores the feminine universe and has a strong focus on the relationship between the body, the camera and the female desire. She’s interested in questioning narrative paradigms and cinematic language in search of a feminist cinema and TV. María is a Goya Spanish Academy Award winner and a BAFTA Connect member. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting at CUNY-Brooklyn College. She was ranked most outstanding student of her film school in The Hollywood Reporter.
