16-year-old Bella and Vipulan are part of a generation convinced that its very future is in danger. Between climate change and the 6th mass extinction of wildlife, their world could well be uninhabitable 50 years from now. They have sounded the alarm over and over, but nothing has really changed. So they’ve decided to tackle the root of the problem: our relationship with the living world. Over the course of an extraordinary journey, they come to realize just how deeply humans are tied to all other living species. And that by saving them... we’re also saving ourselves.

Cyril Dion

He was born in 1978 in Poissy (France). After studying drama and pursuing a brief acting career, he founded , together with writer and farmer Pierre Rabhi, the Colibris movement, an environmentalist association that struggles for energy transition and the protection of the environment. In 2015 he co-directed with actress Mélanie Laurent the documentary ‘Demain’, which identifies several ecological practices to address environmental challenges, and won the César award for Best Documentary Film. In 2017, he published his first novel, ‘Imago’, in which he reviews the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and a year later ‘Petit manuel de résistance contemporaine’, where he takes up his fight against global warming and in favour of the preservation of biodiversity. ‘Animal’, his latest feature film, was part of the Official Selection at the Cannes Festival.
