"I didn’t like my grandfather". In the heart of the Leonese moorland, in the village of Benavides, lived Canina, whose nickname remains unknown and he dedicated to the craft of making fishing flies, a way of life now vanished. His grandson, initially indifferent to his presence and routine, grows up in that environment, observing the patience and dedication his grandfather pours into every detail of his artisanal work. The grandfather, a sociopath, impassive and devoid of sympathy for anyone but himself, remains emotionally distant. When the grandfather suddenly grows old and stops making flies, the grandson begins to see the beauty and value in the things he once dismissed. In his absence, the old, abandoned house and the flies displayed in the cabinet become a silent yet powerful legacy.
