Juan, an astrophysicist born in Villanueva de Sigena, wants to have his childhood dream come true. Encouraged by the memories of his grandparents, he decides to undertake the greatest project of his life: to embark on the recreation of the Chapter House of the Monastery of Sigena. Here begins an initiation journey in which Juan will need to find the people and the places that will help him discover the keys to this great puzzle and be able to show the chapter house, considered the ‘Sistine Chapel of European Romanesque’ in all its splendour.
Director, producer and editor. His filmography includes the documentary feature films ‘Caravaggio, l’ anima e il sangue ’(2018), Golden Globe for best documentary in 2018, and‘ Io Leonardo’ (2019). ‘Forbes Magazine’ chose him as one of the 30 most creative Mexican directors of 2018. His shows and documentaries have been broadcast in more than 130 countries. He has directed and produced over 300 hours of prime-time specials, fiction, and documentaries in which he interviewed hundreds of personalities for major international broadcasters. Successful in leading, motivating and bringing out the best in his cast and crew, he is always researching new stories, ideas, and ways to tell them through the latest technologies, editing software, and cameras.
