On the Paseo de Recoletos in Valladolid lives Alguien (Somebody), a man of means, meticulous and solitary. Every morning, from the window of his home, he observes the same scene: in front of the local bench, a homeless man and his dog try to shelter from the Castilian cold. That stranger —whom he eventually comes to call Nadie (Nobody)— gradually becomes a constant presence, a silent mirror reflecting everything that Alguien has lost without realising it. What begins as mere curiosity turns into a kind of intimate obsession.
