Cristina Urgel
Actress, director, screenwriter and producer born in Soria in 1979. She has developed most of her career as an actress and presenter. She has worked in international productions such as ‘La Reina del Sur’, in successful series such as ‘La que se avecina’ or programs like ‘Sé lo que hicisteis…’. She studied a Law Degree and a Master's Degree in Film and TV Executive Production, and received several screenwriting and creative writing courses . She was part of the Residency for Women Filmmakers Coofilm in 2019 where she met Eva Moreno. Together, they founded the production company Not Alone. She directed her first short film in 2021, ‘Luz’, while also producing films by female directors. ‘The Conversation We Never Had’ (2026) marks her debut feature as a director, following her short film of the same name, which was nominated at the 40th Goya Awards.
