Anna Martí Domingo premieres Nens in Valladolid, demonstrating a unique narrative pulse in an intense story told from an unusual point of view. Teo and his friends are boys who believe they are far from the most toxic forms of masculinity. Still, any game is an excuse to measure their strength, like initiation rituals. One summer day, they take the game too far.

Anna Martí Domingo

Anna Martí Domingo (Barcelona, 1994) graduated in Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She has worked in the direction department of several films and series during the last five years, a position she combines with assistant editing. She is currently working on the script of her first feature film, produced by Nocturna Pictures, which is in the development stage and has participated in the Script Residency at the School of Film and Television of Cuba (EICTV, San Antonio de los Baños). "Nens" is her first short film.
