ESCAC (The Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia) produces this coming of age film by Mariona Martínez. Gala, a 15-year-old girl, has lived all her childhood with her best friend, Lluna, who has a mild autism. They train together in the same athletics team but this year, for the first time, they get separated from the group. Gala starts to become part of a group of girls with common interests.
Mariona Martínez
Born in Barcelona, Spain in 2001. During her youth she participates in audiovisual projects with her friends. She graduated from ESCAC (Catalonia School of Cinema and Audiovisuals) from which her apprenticeship culminated with Lluna de Sal, a social short film that connects with her childhood and her family. She has recently completed her Master's degree in directing and is in the process of development of her new short film.
