A documentary that brings us closer to María Casares, an extraordinary woman whose life was marked by the Civil War and her exile in France. With her, we will re-live the most important historical events of the 20th century in Europe. Hers was an exciting life in which leading cultural figures crossed her path. Committed and tireless in her work, she constantly sought out daring and risky stage proposals that would eventually turn her into one of the most dazzling and acclaimed actresses in French cinema and theatre.
