ECAM is a non-profit cultural organisation that aims to train the next generation of audiovisual professionals and promote cultural activities related to the industry. Its greatest assets are its students – past and present – its teachers and its team.
Every year, more than 400 active professionals from the cinema, television and advertising industries share their expertise with new generations of professionals by attending its classrooms, sets and post-production rooms.
Its teaching staff and institutional ties with the sector have enabled it to build bridges with the industry, facilitating the incorporation of its students into the workforce.
In 2025, the ECAM will celebrate 30 years of commitment to education, talent, and the audiovisual industry.
In its aim to train the next generations of the audiovisual sector and to be the starting point for the professional careers of the leading names in Spanish cinema, ECAM is going one step further: it is expanding its postgraduate offering, which is consolidating and adapting to the needs of the industry, whilst promoting its alumni base, which is one of its core values, fostering the talent trained in its classrooms and boosting the employability of the ECAM community.
Diplomas, postgraduate training, audiovisual literacy, trade school and VFX are the range of qualifications that constitute the school's educational offering, adapted to the needs of the market and the audiovisual industry, and always with a practical approach.
The ECAM takes pride in considering itself the beginning of a professional career rather than the final stage of an academic life. In the belief that the craft can only be learned by doing.
