A member of the Sebastiane Award committee (the San SebastiAn Film Festival’s LGBTIQA+ award, presented by the Gehitu association) since 2014, having been involved with the festival for over a decade as a freelance photographer. From an ac- tivist perspective, he contributes to the Sebastiane and Sebastiane Latino awards and to the network of LGTBIQA+ festivals in Spain and Latin America, promoting the visibility of queer cinema. In 2025, he served on the jury for international short films at the Medina del Campo Film Week and, in 2026, he took part as a panellist in the Teddy Talks, as part of the Berlinale’s Teddy Awards.
