German journalist and presenter. After completing a degree in architecture, she found her way into film via a series of detours. In 2002, she left the building sites behind. While working as editor and presenter responsible for the radio broadcasts of MondayMovieTalk, the film programme at ALEX Berlin, the monthly podcast MondayTalk was added as a new format at Alex Kosmos in 2025. Her film reviews appear in Filmdienst and Screenmagazin, an independent online magazine. Alongside her work as a curator, she provides recommendations for Berlin schools on the Berlinale’s Generation section. Appointed to juries at international film festivals worldwide, she most recently served on the jury at the International Women’s Film Festival in Ankara in 2025.
