Beto, a retired footballer, returns to his hometown to take up a routine job. He stays in a family flat with his niece Elisa, who is fully focused on preparing for her civil service exams. Over the course of a single day, the story follows his wanderings through the streets, in contrast to her daily routine. At the end of the day, the two share memories and moments of silence.
