Portuguese independent programmer, member of the programming team for Doclisboa and the Cannes Filmmakers’ Fortnight. In 2024, she co-foun- ded the distribution company Urtiga with Filipa Reis. From 2012 to 2021, she directed Doclisboa (Portugal) and Sheffield DocFest (UK). She has pro- grammed film series and exhibitions, and has given seminars, lectures, and workshops at the CCC in Mexico City, BAM Bogotá, Jihlava IDFF, Riga Pasaules FF, EICTV in Cuba, and the HGK Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design in Germany, among others. She is a tutor in the Master’s Program in Creative Do- cumentary at Pompeu Fabra University. For over a decade, she was a member of the board of directors of Apordoc (Associação pelo Documentário), and a jury member at festivals.
