He was born in Mieres in 1975 and studied Psy- chology and Film. He has directed short films such as ‘Nenyure’ (2004, Goya-nominated) and ‘La presa’ (2008), as well as the feature-length do- cumentary ‘Pasamentu’ (2003).Since 1999 he has been involved in several film festivals as a director, programmer, curator or collaborator (Cortomieres, Curtocircuíto, Short Film Week of the Community of Madrid, Mecal Pro, MUFF, Gijón International Film Festival, Festival de Málaga, Petronila, Festival de Cine de Burgos...). He is currently the director of the Aguilar de Campoo Festival and PequeFilmes (Santiago de Compostela). Since 2017 he has been the coordinator of Cortometrajes Laboral Cinema- teca (Asturias Short Film Office) and coordinates the catalogue Shorts From Galicia.
