Remei is an old woman who has lived in a village all of her life and has devoted herself mainly to her family. Even though she feels more lonely every day, she keeps doing household chores and other activities that help her while away the time. Her great-grandson, who is beginning to discover the world around him, often keeps her company. They live in a windy area in northeastern Spain, where we also find a shepherd who spends most of his time tending his flock of sheep and a girl who cultivates apples. These main characters share a daily reality which highlights a lively cultural heritage preserved through the legacy across family generations.

Pere Puigbert

Born in the Empordà region, he began his career as a documentary editor, and today he combines his work as an audiovisual producer and editor with his job as a teacher at the ERAM School of Audiovisual and Multimedia Production. His filmography includes the audiovisual project ‘Anima Naturae’, a series of six pieces inspired by the art of haiku, which won a G! Communication Award from the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board (2014); or the short film ‘Fluvius’, which has become an itinerant project in museum venues in 2021. ‘The Wind that Moves us’ is his first feature film as director.
