Ruta UVa returns to the 71st Seminci, offering a different way to experience the festival. Organised in collaboration with the University of Valladolid, the initiative presents a selection of ten films drawn from across the programme.

The route is designed to introduce audiences to works they would be unlikely to encounter through conventional exhibition channels. Screenings are followed by discussions that provide further context and open up new ways of approaching each film. Across the different sessions, those taking part are encouraged to develop their own perspective, turning the experience into a shared process of learning and discovery.

Open to university students and the general public, Ruta UVa requires prior registration. The €15 fee includes admission to all ten screenings. University of Valladolid students who attend at least 80% of the programme may receive one elective credit. The University will also reimburse the registration fee to anyone who meets the same attendance requirement.

• Registration fee: €15, including access to all ten films in the programme (screenings and masterclass). Courses organised by the Centro Buendía are recognised for 1 ECTS credit per 25 hours.
