A month after the war between Israel and Hamas begins, a Jewish Israeli illustrator ends her relationship with Omar, a filmmaker of Syrian Muslim origin, with whom she shares a life in Spain. What remains is an unfinished film —and the uneasy question of how to look at each other again.
Canarian filmmaker and producer with Syrian roots trained in Madrid, Paris, and Montreal. His works as a director include ‘Killing Crabs’ (2023), winner of two Silver Biznaga awards at the Malaga Film Festival, and the Goya-nominated short film ‘La prima cosa’ (2021), which premiered in Annecy. He has been selected for Berlinale Talents, Biennale College Cinema in Venice, Rotterdam Lab, and TorinoFilmLab Up&Coming and Cannes Docs, and has produced more than 20 feature and short films.
