When they switch off their engines, truck drivers, chat, fish, make love, search, dance, pray... But above all, they wait, parked on the roadsides of Argentina, suspended in a strange dimension of time, while everything around them keeps moving. Fleeting conversations, radio interferences, dislocated landscapes, gas stations, roadside diners, tire repair shops and motels accumulate as if in a twilight dream. ‘Truck Driver’ is a melancholic journey through a world on the brink of disappearance.
