Miracles still happen, at least that's what they say... What is the place of the sacred in the contemporary world? Looking back the myth of Saint Anthony, the myth of Saint Anthony of Lisbon (and also of Padua), through Goya's timeless painting, ’13 Pins’ is a story of love, revenge and blood. It departs from a reenactment of an episode that supposedly took place in medieval Lisbon, filtered through the cosmopolitan 18th century of Madrid, flowing back to today’s Lisbon, where miracles, in fact, do not happen.
