After returning from a trip to Naples where she sought to forget her past, Leonie dives deep into the work of Italian writer Anna Maria Ortese. She and her friends meet to discuss Ortese’s books ‘The Port of Toledo’ and ‘Iguana’, revealing the fine line between a passion for literature as a way of engaging with the world and a way of sublimating one’s demons. Meanwhile, Leonie’s friend Florian moves from sublet to sublet, unable to resolve his conflicts with his father or set down roots in Berlin.
