When a group of farm animals rebel and kick their neglectful farmer off the land, life is good and the dream of a free, equitable future is within sight. But power struggles among some of literature’s most infamous characters ensue and the realities of living in a world designed for mankind complicate and corrupt the satirical and allegorical Animal Farm.
Andy Serkis
Actor y director británico, nacido en 1964 en Ruislip. Best known for revolutionising performance-capture acting with his portrayal of Gollum in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, he went on to play King Kong in Peter Jackson’s ‘King Kong’, Caesar in the ‘Planet of the Apes’ films, and Supreme Leader Snoke in ‘Star Wars’, among others. Additional credits include acclaimed performances in ‘The Prestige’, ‘Black Panther’ and ‘The Batman’, as well as award-winning television programs such as Andor and Longford. He has also established himself as a director with films including ‘Breathe’ (2017), ‘Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle’ (2018), and ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ (2021). His contributions to cinema have been recognised with a BAFTA Award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema, multiple Empire Awards, Saturn Awards, and a Daytime Emmy, along with several nominations from BAFTA and the Golden Globes. In 2011, he co-founded The Imaginarium Studios, a leading production and performance-capture company.
