Filmmaker and actor born in Sabadell in 1984. A graduate in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University, he made his feature film debut with ‘Nos parecía importante’ (2016), which had its world premiere at D’A, followed by ‘La maldita primavera’ (2017), ‘Whore and Beloved’ (2018), ‘Cut!’ (2021, nominated for the Feroz Awards and winner of the Audience Award at the Cinespaña Festival in Toulouse) and ‘To Laugh, to Sing, Perchance to Cry’ (2024, selected for the San Sebastián Film Festival, as part of the ‘Made in Spain’ section, and winner of the D’A Jury Prize, and ‘Cinemania’ (2026), as well as the medium-length film ‘Red Heart’ (2020). He has taught editing and directing at La Casa del Cine in Barcelona, and worked as a screenwriting tutor at the Film Academy. He has also worked as a screenwriter on ‘Girlfriends and Girlfriends’ (Zaida Carmona, 2023) and ‘Mamantula’ (Ion de Sosa, 2024; nominated for a Goya Award for Best Short Film).
