This is an uninhibited portrait of the traditional summer festivals —the verbenas— capturing their very essence, the lifeblood that transforms them into both a vibrant, working-class celebration and a deeply rooted cultural institution. Across 12 evocative scenes, the film explores different festive themes, featuring the avant-garde writer Ramón Gómez de la Serna alongside key actors and figures of the period, all guided by a voiceover that balances educational insight with witty humor.
